Steve Lessack brings more than 25 years of experience in the title insurance industry to his role as President, Canadian Division for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. In his role, he is responsible for determining the company’s direction and business strategy in Canada with his executive team.

Under his leadership, Stewart Title has experienced unprecedented growth in Canada, garnering nearly 40 per cent of the market.

His experience in the title insurance industry has established his strong leadership reputation among his peers, and he is recognized for his ongoing support of lawyers being part of the real estate process with title insurance companies providing value-added protection and security.

Mr. Lessack also oversees the company’s international activities throughout the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland), Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Romania and Australia. He is responsible for identifying opportunities, building the business and establishing operations in these and new markets.
