As Senior Counsel, Vice President - Commercial Division, Wayne Lipton is responsible for all commercial marketing and policy development as well as underwriting negotiations for large transactions. With extensive experience in the real estate industry, he is also a regular contributor to a number of trade publications and presenter at events for lawyers and lenders discussing the benefits of title insurance.

Prior to joining Stewart Title, Mr. Lipton practiced law for 12 years with Lipton & Lipton Barristers & Solicitors in Toronto, Ontario. In his private practice, he developed extensive expertise in real estate, covering all aspects of commercial and residential purchase, sale and mortgage transactions.

Mr. Lipton earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of Toronto and completed one year of study towards his Juris Doctorate Degree at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. He returned to Canada and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Windsor and was called to the Bar in 1986.
